FDNY Responds To Partial Crane Collapse In Greenpoint, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- There was a precarious situation in Brooklyn on Thursday after a crane partially collapse..

The FDNY said it happened just before 4 p.m. on Thursday at a high-rise building on Commercial and Clay streets in Greenpoint.

Part of the crane became unstable at the 31-story building under construction, officials said.

No one was hurt, but nearby buildings were evacuated.

It's not clear what caused the partial collapse.
