FDNY lieutenant collapses during training drill on Randall's Island
An FDNY lieutenant collapsed during a training drill on Randall's Island Wednesday.
It happened just after 1 p.m. while the lieutenant was participating in the drill.
The Fire Department said the lieutenant suffered a cardiac arrest. He was treated on the scene by paramedics at the Fire Academy.
He's been hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
