FBI, NYPD Search For Suspects In Little Neck Bank Robbery

LITTLE NECK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Both the NYPD and FBI are searching for two suspects in connection with a bank robbery in Little Neck, New York.

Authorities said the two suspects, who were dressed in dark clothing with masks across their faces, stormed a vault at Chase Bank on Marathon Parkway on Dec 4., around 9:40 a.m.

One suspect had a handgun and a black bag while the second, shorter suspect demanded the manager open the door to the teller area. The suspect then took money from the teller drawer and told the manager to open the bank's vault, police said.

Authorities say the suspect took cash from the vault and stuffed it inside the black bag, before the two suspects took off.

The FBI released surveillance video of the incident and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 212-384-1000.
