Father Charged After 2-Year-Old Boy Brings Heroin To Daycare Center In Paterson

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Paterson police arrested the father of a 2-year-old boy Tuesday after the boy was found at a daycare center with heroin.

The drugs were found by a worker at a day care center on Oliver Street, police said. Workers at the center called the police, who said they recovered 48 envelopes of heroin in the boy's jacket.

Paterson police arrested Phillip Young, the boy's father. He's been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
