NYPD: Woman Stabbed To Death In Queens, Roommate Arrested

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man has been arrested after his female roommate was stabbed to death in Queens late Wednesday night.

Police say they found the 26-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds at a home on Stanhope Street in Ridgewood just before midnight.

The woman was taken to Wyckoff Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her name has not yet been released, pending family notification.

Police say her roommate, who hasn't been identified, had stabbed himself in the leg and was taken to a hospital. He was listed in stable condition and remains in police custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
