Construction Worker Falls 30 Feet To His Death In Midtown

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A construction worker fell to his death Saturday in Manhattan.
It happened around 3:15 p.m. near East 43rd Street and Madison Ave. in Midtown.
Police said the 49-year-old man fell 30 feet off scaffolding. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
It's unclear what led up to the fatal fall.
The victim's name has not been released.
