Farmingville Man Accused Of Groping Woman, Girl At Fire Department Events

FARMINGVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Farmingville, Long Island man has been arrested on charges that he groped a woman and a 15-year-old girl at local fire department events over the past year and a half.

A 15-year-old girl reported that Justin Russo, 24, forcibly touched her this past Saturday at an event at the Farmingville Fire Department, at 1080 Portion Rd. in Farmingville, Suffolk County police said. He was arrested the same day, police said.

Police also learned that on July 13, 2014, Russo was also accused of forcibly touching a 28-year-old woman at an event that the Selden Fire Department, at 44 Woodmere Pl. in Selden, police said.

He was arrested a second time and charged separately in that incident on Tuesday, police said.

Russo was charged with forcible touching in both incidents, and endangering the welfare of a child in the earlier one, police said.

He was arraigned on his Saturday, and posted bail after his Tuesday arrest, police said.
