Fairfield Police: ManTried To Lure Child Into Minivan
FAIRFIELD, CONN. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Connecticut are looking for a driver who they said tried to lure a child into his car.
The incident happened in the Rite Aid parking lot on Post Road in Fairfield last Friday in broad daylight, CBS 2 reported.
Investigators said the suspect approached the child in an older model, tan minivan and made inappropriate comments and offered gifts.
The driver sped off when the child refused and backed away, CBS 2 reported.
