Expert Offers Last-Minute Tips To Pep Up Your Easter Decor

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- With some Easter recipes now in your arsenal, there are a few easy finishing touches that can make your Easter table just a little more special.

Amanda Kingloff, a Michael's craft ambassador, stopped by the CBS2 studio to show Diane Macedo and Andrea Grymes some tips and tricks for Easter decor.

"It's spring," Kingloff said. "We're done with the winter. It's time for color. And the great thing about all of these projects is ... you pretty much have all this stuff at home already, and it's really easy to do."

One centerpiece idea is to take vases or mason jars, fill them with candy and then place artificial or real flowers inside.

For place settings, fold napkins to look like bunnies.
