Man Charged With Making Terroristic Threat At Long Island Macy's Store

EAST GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Hempstead man has been charged with making a phony bomb threat at the Macy's in the Roosevelt Field mall.

Elvis Governor, 53, is accused of calling 911 Thursday evening to report there was a bomb in the store. The store was closed as police performed a complete search of the store, but did not find any evidence of an explosive.

An investigation led Nassau County Police Department's Major Case Bureau to arrest Governor on Saturday. He is charged with making a terroristic threat and is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday in Hempstead.
