Police Trying To Identify Elderly Woman Found On Ground In Hell's Kitchen

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York City police are trying to identify an elderly woman who was found on the ground in Hell's Kitchen Wednesday evening.

EMS found the unidentified woman lying on the ground around 10:30 p.m. in front of 572 11th Avenue. She was transported to Roosevelt Hospital in stable condition.

Hospital staff told police that the woman does not speak or respond to verbal prompts.

She is described a black female in her 70s wearing a multi-colored head garment and glasses.

Anyone with information in regards to this missing/unidentified female is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
