El Toro Roller Coaster At Six Flags Great Adventure Shut Down After Incident

JACKSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure was shut down after an incident on the ride.

A Six Flags spokesperson said El Toro stopped before completing its cycle Tuesday afternoon. No riders were hurt.

The spokesperson said the train's safety systems worked as designed and it remained on track.

It's unclear what went wrong.

The wooden roller coaster is closed until it can be fully inspected.
