WATCH: Man Deadlifts Over 1,100 Pounds, Breaking Own World Record

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An Englishman broke his own deadlifting world record over the weekend.

Weight lifter Eddie Hall deadlifted 1,102 pounds at the World Deadlift Championships, breaking his own world record that he set earlier in the night of 1,025 pounds.

Hall held the half-ton weights for several seconds, before letting go and collapsing to the ground.

Several people ran over to him afterwards, but Hall turned out to be fine.

According to CBS Sports, Hall, 28, has been Britain's Strongest Man for three consecutive years and finished fourth at the 2015 World's Strongest Man competition.
