Ed Coleman: Mets 'Certainly Have The Talent' To Get Back To The World Series

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Ed Coleman is expecting big things from the New York Mets this season.

The Mets beat reporter for WFAN told Mike Francesa Tuesday that he can see the team getting back to the World Series for a second year in a row.

"Can they do it? Yes, they certainly have the talent to do it. I think, on paper, they're a better team," Coleman said.

Coleman believes outfielder Michael Conforto will be a big part of the Mets success this season, and sees the young prospect playing on a daily basis.

"I think Conforto will play well enough down here to prove that he's ready to go every day," Coleman told Francesa. "I think what you will see sometimes is you'll see [Curtis] Granderson sit, see Conforto in right, and [Juan] Lagares in center, and [Yoenis] Cespedes in left."

Coleman also touched on the bullpen and the expectations for David Wright. Listen to the entire interview here.
