LISTEN: WFAN's Ed Coleman Describes Feeling At Emotional Marlins-Mets Game

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- WFAN Mets reporter Ed Coleman described Tuesday what it was like being in attendance at Monday's emotional Mets-Marlins game a day earlier in Miami.

In their first game since ace pitcher Jose Fernandez was killed in a boating accident, the Marlins beat the Mets 7-3, a game highlighted by Dee Gordon's leadoff home run.

"It was a tough night to get through, just to watch," Coleman told WFAN's Mike Francesa. "Like I said last night, I can't even imagine what it's like for his teammates to go through what they did last night. They had to be emotionally drained. I thought they'd be emotionall spent. But you know what? They summoned an awful lot last night to do what they did, and it was something to watch."
