Police Seek Suspects Who Stabbed Man In East Village

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for two suspects who attacked a man with a knife in the East Village.

Authorities said the 49-year-old man was standing outside 11 East 9 St. around 4:40 a.m. on Saturday when the two suspects stabbed him in the back multiple times.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, where he was treated and released, police said.

Authorities released surveillance video of the suspects with the hope that someone will come forward and identify them.
