1 Killed, 3 Injured In East Orange Shooting

EAST ORANGE, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A shooting in East Orange left one man dead and three injured late Sunday night, authorities said.

Ahmad Crudup, 22, of Maplewood, died shortly before midnight Sunday at University Hospital in Newark, police said.

Police responded to reports of gunshots in the 200 block of South Clinton Street around 11:30 p.m.

The other three victims -- men all in their 20s -- were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said. Their names were not released.

No arrest has been made.

Officials declined to comment further on the incident.
