Man Shot In Head In East Harlem Bodega

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was shot in the head late Thursday in a bodega in East Harlem, and was not expected to survive.

Around 8:30 p.m., a man believed to be 49 years old walked into a bodega at 1862 Lexington Ave. when a suspect followed him in and shot him once in the head, police said.

The suspect fled the scene, police said.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital and was not expected to survive, police said.
