Suspect Caught On Video Shooting Man, Running Off In East Flatbush, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Tuesday for a suspect who shot and wounded a man East Flatbush, Brooklyn last month.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, police said. The victim, a 28-year-old man, was walking in front of 412 East 51st St. when he was shot in the lower torso by a man he did not know, police said.

The suspect ran south on East 51st Street toward Snyder Avenue, while the victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center where he was treated and released, police said.

Surveillance video showed the suspect firing the shots and running off.
