The car ran off Summerfield Avenue, careening down a hill and into the marsh at around 10:15 a.m., officials told CBS 2.

The reeds in the marsh were very tall, and the car carved a clear path through them.

The driver could be seen gesturing and speaking with her rescuers.

Footage from the scene showed at least six rescuers carrying the driver out of the marsh on a backboard. She is in stable condition, officials told CBS 2.
