New Jersey state police say the crash occurred during a race clinic Saturday at about 12:30 p.m. The driver was operating a three-quarter midget car when it struck a wall.

The 21-year-old female driver was following another vehicle at the time of the crash, police told NJ.com.

The driver's name hasn't been released pending notification of family.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The track, which is located at the New Jersey shore, had seven races scheduled for Saturday night.
