DOT Takes Aim At Rough Roads, Dispatches Pothole Repair Crews Citywide

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- If you have been out driving lately, you know that potholes have turned roads into an obstacle course.

The city's Department of Transportation said crews are on pothole repair duty across the five boroughs.

The agency dispatched nearly 70 crews to target residential streets and major highways over the weekend.

The DOT said it has already filled more than 180,000 potholes since mid-December.
