Dog Zig-Zags, Avoids Capture In UWS

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Video caught a crazy scene on the Upper West Side as a dog zig-zagged up Amsterdamn Avenue in the 80s.

As CBS 2 reported, the white terrier ran for at least 40 blocks, evading police all the way.

Police tried to keep other vehicles from hitting the animal and thought they corralled it, but the dog took off again, toward the Columbia University campus.

It was not known if the dog was finally caught, CBS 2 reported.
