Disturbing Video Shows Trash All Over Subway Car

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It looks like a subway trash car, not one meant to carry passengers.
A disgusting subway car full of trash has gotten the attention of the NYPD and Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
A rider on a southbound 2 train in the Bronx took a disturbing video. It shows mounds of garbage all over a subway car.
The trash appears to cover almost every surface, from the floor to the seats.
New York City Transit President Andy Byford said it's a "clear violation of subway rules," and said the agency agency has referred the video to the police.
