Devils Re-Sign Forward Reid Boucher

NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New Jersey Devils have re-signed restricted free agent left wing Reid Boucher to a one-year, two-way contract.

General manager Ray Shero made the announcement Wednesday, disclosing that Boucher will be paid $715,000 at the NHL level.

Boucher split last season between New Jersey and Albany of the AHL. The 22-year-old had eight goals and 11 assists in 39 games with the Devils. He had 19 goals and 13 assists in 34 games in the minor leagues. He also added four goals and six assists in 11 Calder Cup playoff games with Albany.

The Devils selected Reid in the fourth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
