Mayor Bill de Blasio Booed At Mets Home Opener
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Mayor Bill de Blasio got a Bronx cheer in Queens Friday.
The mayor appeared at the Mets' opening day game against the Philadelphia Phillies along with other top officials of his administration.
When he was introduced, the crowd didn't hold back, unleashing a loud boo.

It's not the first time de Blasio has been booed at a Mets home opener.

The mayor has previously said that fans treat him poorly at Mets and Yankees games.
