Suspect Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Woman In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A 33-year-old man has been arrested in the stabbing death of a woman in the basement of a home in Brooklyn.

Tisa Kelly, 46, of Kissimmee, Florida, was found just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday with slash wounds to her neck in the house on East 95th Street in East Flatbush, police said.

Kelly was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Daniel Romain has been arrested on charges of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

It's not clear if Romain has a lawyer who can comment on the charges.
