The city's first-ever DQ Grill & Chill is located at 14th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues.

"This opening is certainly a long time in coming, but is well worth the wait," said John Gainor, president and CEO for International Dairy Queen, Inc. "Our fans have been requesting that we open in Manhattan so we are thrilled to finally be here."

Customers can enjoy a burger and salad along with DQ's famous soft-serve treats, including iconic Blizzard shakes.

For its Manhattan debut, DQ has created a special Big Apple Blizzard, which has granny smith apple pieces in a pie filling mixed with vanilla soft serve and topped with whipped cream and cinnamon.

The Manhattan location is 2,500 square-feet and seats more than 100 people. It is the only two-story DQ Grill & Chill restaurant in the country.

The new restaurant serves lunch and dinner and is open Sunday – Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight and Friday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
