Police: Man Robbed Boy, 13, In Cypress Hills, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Monday were searching for a suspect who robbed a 13-year-old boy in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn late last month.

The suspect came up to the boy around 2:50 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at the northwest corner of Crescent Street and Cox Place in Brooklyn, police said.

The suspect demanded the boy's cellphone and took it out of the boy's hand before running off, police said.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, dark-colored pants, and white sneakers, police said.

Police have released video of the robbery.
