NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Riders on the Cyclone roller coaster in Coney Island got stuck when the ride broke down.

It happened around 11 a.m. Saturday.

Passengers were forced to walk down the roller coaster.

A park spokesman said it was a minor issue and the ride is running again.

It was the second time this year the 88-year-old wooden coaster has broken down.

The first riders on opening day in April got stuck just before the first big drop.

"My mother used to live here and she was always talking about, 'did you ride the Cyclone?' and I was like 'no.' It looks so old and I dunno it might break down," she said.

After the ride, the woman said knowing the ride had broken down in the past made her petrified during her ride.
