Connecticut Looking To Hire More Than 100 Snowplow Drivers

HARTFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) -- Connecticut desperately needs snowplow drivers ahead of the winter season.

The state is looking to hire about 140 drivers to address a 13% shortage.

State officials say the lack of workers is due to a number of recent retirements and a shortage of applicants who have commercial drivers licenses.
