Truck driver kills woman in Brooklyn hit-and-run, NYPD says

A woman was killed in a hit-and-run Friday morning in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

It happened just after 5:20 a.m. on Eastern Parkway between Troy and Schenectady Avenues.

Police say a semi truck heading eastbound struck the woman and then kept going.

EMS declared her dead at the scene.
