Police: Man Gets 20 Stitches After Being Attacked With Broken Beer Bottles In Crown Heights

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)-- A man was attacked with broken beer bottles in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on Saturday evening, police said.

Officials said a man attacked the 40-year-old victim with two broken beer bottles at around 11 p.m. in front of 215 Schenectady Avenue following a dispute. Officials said it does not appear that the two men knew each other.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital and received 20 stitches due to gashes on his neck, police said.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic man, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot 9-inches, weighing around 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black sweater, and light colored pants.
