"It's the greatest show," one man said. "It's good storytelling, and it's a really, just, entertaining show."

A woman named Marla said much as she loves the show – and stood in line and paid to watch the sneak preview – the books it is based on are even better.

The fantasy drama "Game of Thrones" series was created by writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. It was based on author George R.R. Martin's series of fantasy novels, "A Song of Ice and Fire."
