Crane Strikes Thruway Overpass, Snarling Morning Traffic In Rockland County

CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - A crane being hauled on a tractor-trailer crashed into a bridge overpass Wednesday morning, sending the crane rolling onto I-87.

The incident happened at around 8:55 a.m. on the Thruway at the Hungry Hollow Road bridge overpass.

The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The accident is under investigation.
