Police: Philadelphia Couple Stole Items From Beachgoers At NJ Beach

NORTH WILDWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A couple Philadelphia faces theft charges for allegedly stealing items from the bags of beachgoers in southern New Jersey over the weekend.

North Wildwood police say 36-year-old Kelly Costanzo and 39-year-old Larry Hall also face child endangerment charges because their three children were with them at the beach on Saturday.

Police arrived and took Costanzo into custody. Hall fled the area but was later found in  Wildwood. Authorities say he had $500 cash and a cell phone that had been stolen at the North Wildwood beach.

Hall's bail was set at $35,000 cash, while Costanzo's bail was set at $25,000.

The couple's three children -- ages 6, 9 and 12 -- were released to the care of a relative.
