Cops: Teen Suspects Rob 14-Year-Old Boy At Gunpoint In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to find four teenagers who they said robbed a 14-year-old boy at gunpoint in the Bronx.
It happened back on Aug. 10 just after midnight on Bronxwood Avenue.
Police said the boy was walking home when he was stopped by the four teens.
One of them asked the boy, "What you got on you?" and then went into the boy's backpack, took out a food stamp card and demanded the pin number, police said.
That's when the teens pulled out a gun and hit the victim in the face before taking off on foot, police said.
The boy had pain and swelling to his right eye, but refused medical attention.
The teens were seen on surveillance video. Police describe all the suspects as 17-year-old black males.
Police said the first suspect is 5'7", 140 pounds with crew cut hair; The second is 5'6", 140 pounds also with crew cut hair; the third is 5'9" and about 165 pounds; and the fourth is 5'9", 145 pounds with braids.
