Cops: Suspect Biked Past Woman, Swiped Cell Phone From Her Hands

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a grand larceny that took place in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn.

At 3:40 p.m. on April 4, a 20-year-old woman was sitting down, using her Samsung Galaxy cell-phone when a suspect approached her from behind on a bike and snatched it from her hands.

The suspect has been described as an 18-year-old, black, male with short hair. He was approximately 5'6".
