Cops Seek Suspect In West Babylon TD Bank Robbery

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police in Suffolk County are investigating a bank robbery that took place in West Babylon on Wednesday.

Shortly before noon, a man entered the TD Bank at 701 W. Montauk Highway, approached the teller,  produced a note indicating that he had a gun, and demanded cash, police said.

The teller complied with the demand and gave the suspect cash from the drawer. The man then fled on foot east bound through the parking lot, according to authorities.

The suspect has been described as a white male with light brown hair, he is approximately 5'10", between 25 and 30-years-old, and has a thin build. He was unshaven, wore a grey Hollister sweatshirt, a black baseball hat, and sunglasses.
