Cops Seek Suspect In Pair Of Armed Robberies In Flatbush, Crown Heights

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in identifying and locating a suspect who is wanted in connection with a robbery pattern that took place in the Flat Bush and Crown Heights sections of Brooklyn.

Shortly after midnight on January 16, the suspect entered the kitchen area of Sip & Chat restaurant on Avenue D, brandished two firearms, ordered the workers to go to the back of the room but fled empty-handed.

On January 17, at 3:20 p.m. the suspect entered Carrasco's Grocery Store, brandished a pair of firearms and demanded money from the store owner.

The owner complied and the suspect left with $600.
