Cops Seek Suspect In East Village Stabbing

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a suspect who allegedly stabbed a man in the East Village early Saturday morning.

According to police, the victim began to film an altercation between the suspect and another man at around 1:30 a.m. at 141 E. 13th St. The suspect then turned his attention to the man with the camera, pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the torso, cops said.

The victim, 41, was transported to Bellevue Hospital Center, where he was treated and released.

The suspect fled the scene. Police have released images of him.
