Cops Seek Suspect In Bronx Livery Cab Robbery

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in tracking down a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that took place in the Bronx.

At 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, a livery cab driver dropped the suspect off at Hill Ave and Randall Ave. The suspect claimed to have a firearm and demanded money. The driver handed over $28 and the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect has been described as a black male, between the ages of 40 and 50-years-old, he is between 5'9" and 5'11", was wearing black clothing, and has a black goatee, police said.
