Cops Searching For Suspect Who Fired Gunshots Into Bronx Bodega

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking the public for help in finding a man wanted in connection with an attempted assault in the Bronx.

According to police, the suspect fired two gunshots into Sheale Deli Grocery at 1095 Prospect Ave. around 9:10 p.m. on Friday.

The bullets struck the front door and wall inside the bodega and police said no injuries were reported despite that both workers and patrons were in the store at the time.

Police described the suspect as a black male, about 18 years old who was wearing a black Arizona Diamondbacks baseball cap, black jacket and black jeans.
