Cops Search For Teen Who Allegedly Fired Shots At Group In Alphabet City

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a teenager they said fired a gun at a group of people in Alphabet City earlier this week.

Police said 16-year-old Frank Maldonado was leaving 178 Avenue D when he brandished a gun and fired the shots Monday at around 2 p.m.

No one was injured by the gun fire, police said. Maldonado then fled the scene.
