Cops Search For Bed-Stuy Robbery Suspect

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man who robbed someone of an iPhone in Brooklyn last month.

The 35-year-old male victim was walking up the steps to his home in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 23 when he was approached by the assailant, who grabbed for the smartphone. The victim resisted and was down the steps, striking his head while the robber fled with the iPhone 4, police said. He suffered a laceration to his head and was treated at and released from Interfaith Hospital.

Police have released a photo of the suspect.
