Cops Release Surveillance Photos Of Alleged Bronx Shooter

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the gunman in a non-fatal shooting in the Bronx on Sunday night.

According to police, an 18-year-old man was walking near Fulton Avenue and East 167th Street when the suspect approached him and asked him where he was from. After the victim answered, the suspected pulled out a handgun and shot the teen in the right thigh before fleeing, police said.

The victim was transported to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition late Tuesday.

Police have release surveillance images of the suspect, taken at a nearby building.
