Cops: Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In Selden

SELDEN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A car crash on Long Island left a pedestrian dead Saturday night.

Mary McCabe, 51, struck a man with her car on Route 25 at College Road in Selden shortly after 9 p.m., Suffolk County police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating. They have not released the victim's identity.

Newsday reported that police do not suspect criminality.
