Cops: Patient Arrested After Assault On Nurse At Beth Israel
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A nurse was assaulted by a patient inside of Beth Israel Medical Center on Monday night.
A woman smacked the female nurse in the face, police said. The suspect was arrested and charges are pending.
The nurse was not seriously hurt in the incident which followed a more serious one that took place on Friday night, at Brookdale Hospital.
In that incident a patient attacked a nurse so badly that she needed brain surgery, police said.
