Cops: Man, Woman Dead After Apparent Murder-Suicide At Times Square Hotel

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Two people were found shot to death inside a Midtown hotel Wednesday night in an apparent murder-suicide, police said.

The victims -- a man and a woman -- were found in the lobby of the Times Square Hotel on West 43rd Street just before 11 p.m., cops said.

Officers found a 26-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg and torso. A 29-year-old man was found with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, police said.

They were taken to Bellevue Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Police identified the woman as Brandi Quijano. They listed her address as being the Times Square Hotel.

The man's identity has not been released.

The investigation is continuing.
