Cops: Long Island Man Dies After Car Falls On Him During Oil Change

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Long Island man was killed when his truck rolled on top of him while he changed the oil Saturday.

Rony Calderon, 48, was pinned around 4 p.m. when the vehicle rolled off a set of ramps holding up the front tires, Riverhead police said.

Neighbors used a jack to lift the truck, but Calderon lay unresponsive, police said. He was pronounced dead a short time later at Peconic Bay Medical Center.

Calderon's death appeared accidental and no criminality is suspected.
